Vontobel Asset Management adds key hire to its CHF 22 billion Multi Asset Boutique

Vontobel Asset Management has appointed Gregor Hirt as Head of Multi Asset Solutions. Gregor will join on 1 July 2017 and also become a voting member of the Investment Committee.

"Gregor has a distinguished career in multi-asset investing, having won several Morningstar and Lipper awards for the funds he managed," says Christophe Bernard, Head of Multi Asset Boutique. "His deep knowledge of our strategic markets for multi asset, namely Switzerland, Germany and Italy, and his experience will be instrumental in helping us further shape a first-class multi-asset product shelf for our clients." Gregor Hirt joins Vontobel Asset Management from UBS Global Asset Management, where he started in 2014 as Chief Investment Officer (CIO) Global Investment Solutions for Europe and Switzerland and became Global Chief Strategist Multi Asset in 2016. Prior to UBS, Gregor Hirt held various senior positions at Schroders and Credit Suisse.
