Vontobel Private Banking has been named 'Best Private Banking Boutique' by the renowned specialist magazines 'Profes¬sional Wealth Management' (PWM) and 'The Banker', which are published by the Financial Times Group. The prestigious Global Private Banking Awards are presented to leading institutions in the finance industry that have excelled due to their high standards of quality. The accolades also reflect the new reality in the wealth management sector and reveal which financial institutions have responded to the evolving industry landscape by adapting their business models at an early stage and developing effective solutions to address changing client needs.
Vontobel beat a large number of rival institutions in this category to scoop the award. Its competitors included private banks and wealth managers from across Europe, North and Latin America, Asia and the Middle East. The panel of judges, made up of leading financial experts from around the globe, named Vontobel Private Banking the 'Best Private Banking Boutique' based on the results of a comprehensive benchmark analysis as well as its impressive key performance indicators (KPIs). The CEO of the Vontobel Group Dr. Zeno Staub welcomed the award, stating: "It is ultimately a tribute to all the employees of the Vontobel Group. Their hard work and commitment, as well as their ability to collaborate closely through our integrated business model to generate added value for our clients, deserves the utmost respect in view of the difficult market environment in recent months."
