10 years after the financial crisis – what has changed?
It’s the 10-year anniversary of the financial crisis with the collapse of Lehman Brothers on 15 September 2008. The world has changed a lot since then, global economic growth has been strong and unemployment rates are at record lows across the world. Furthermore, the financial system seems to be safer with most banks boasting strong capital ratios and low leverage. However, new risks have been created.
